The 2008 WKA Tech Manual states that the only legal engine for JR 1 and JR 2

competition is the Briggs and Stratton Animal.

As a cost savings measure for its members the club voted to allow flathead engines to

be legal for competition in JR 1 and JR 2 for the 2008 season.

Since the WKA only allows the animal engine in these classes it made changes

to its tech rules specific for Animal vs. Animal competition.

The Rule Proposal Change is the following:

The Jr 1 and Jr 2 classes will follow the 2007 Tech Manual Specifications

that were created for Flathead vs. Animal competition.

Discussion will be heard at the beginning of the

May 13th 2008 club meeting.

Voting to follow no earlier than 7:30 PM
